it's rather strange. When i cast divert hexes on target ally, it acted like I'm casting heal party/lod. It's rather strange thou....I personally don't like it this way. Not sure about the other professions...

Nope, try using a trap with ranger, they dont crouch anymore, try using kindle or ignite arrows, they dont crouch anymore.

Also Blinding Surge has change to as if your casting a attunment.

Binding Rituals now look like a typical Rit spell animation.

And of course the animation matters. Why shouldn't we expect to see our character preform their actions correctly?

My assassin has the really gay trap activation on Assassins promise no less! I liked the old animations. give them back!

EDIT: Palm strike looks pretty funny now lol. looks like the Shoe-tie of doom!

ZB is casting like you're casting it on yourself (or that of a party-wide spell), and it keeps making me think I'm healing myself.

When I play ranger in pvp I look for rits doing their binding ritual animation and rangers stooping down putting up preps so I can throw an interrupt their way. The change isn't crippling, but it would be nice to have the animations corrected.

on my monk when I cast zb on an ally it looks as if I am targeting myself.
With my ranger apply poison looks like I was using troll.

the ranger animations are backwards, traps they do the thing like they are summoning a spirit and vice versa.

Add divert hexes to that list, it looks like I cast it on myself.

Something else I noticed and posted about in the dev track forum thread, but only because someone else said something about it, has anybody else noticed an issue with energy? Specifically being a monk?

My energy frequently seemed like it was not displaying correctly last night. My bar was showing 37 energy and when I tried to cast divert, it told me I didn't have enough energy. Then I went from 42 energy to 9 in an instant, for what appeared to be no specific reason. The people I was playing with last night convinced me I was either crazy, or sucking at life... but someone else experienced it too, I guess. Anybody else?

friend also noticed Mhenlo uses WoH like a trap

Most skills have this, except attack skills.

I noticed it when using a ranger prep, it should have been the shoe-lashes-tieing-animation, but it instead was the Make-a-circle-with-your-arms-animation, bummer, liked the old one.

Probable just a bug, will be fixed soon( I hope)

When i order my necro to move just after he finishes casting Animate Flesh Golem, instead of running he's floating over ground for about 1 second, with his body frozen in the last sequence of spell animation. He looks like a drunken Mursaat, LOL.

just checked with my ranger. the "crouch down and tie shoelaces" animation seems to be completely gone, and replaced by the "are waving" animation. looks pretty good, though.

Yep it seems Ranger preps use the same animation as Troll Unguent. Heal As One however uses the preperation/spirit casting crouch (whereas if i'm not mistaken with a hammer it should be the Ranger just raising the hammer into the air)

I liked my old Prep animation......
